Now, the issue of Telangana is a little sidelined with declaration from Chidambaram. But, the agitation still goes on altogether a different agenda. Telangana Rashtra Samiti has opened another front, as Prof Jayashankar, warned that there would be a civil war if Telangana is created without Hyderabad.

Even as the five decade long agitation for a separate Telangana seeming to bearing fruits, the capital of Andhra Pradesh, "Greater Hyderabad," has becoming a bone of contention among the leaders of Andhra, Telangana and Rayalaseema.

Many leaders of TRS have made it clear that Hyderabad has been the capital of Telangana for over 400 years and will continue to be so.
