Deputy CLP leader in Legislative Assembly T Jeevan Reddy on Tuesday alleged that K Chandrashekar Rao has failed to perform as the Chief Minister of Telangana.
Speaking to media persons in Assembly premises here, Jeevan Reddy accused KCR of not being serious about his responsibilities as the Chief Minister. Instead of resolving problems being faced by the people, he is enjoying tours. After Singapore mania, KCR is now trying to mislead people with his three-day tour of Warangal district. He said that the Chief Minister is trying all means to draw maximum publicity while ignoring the real development of Telangana.
Jeevan Reddy said denial of appointment by Prime Minister Narendra Modi to KCR was an insult for the entire State of Telangana. The Chief Minister failed to prove his might and could not even meet the Prime Minister or even the Union Energy Minister during his last visit to the national capital.
The Congress leader said that the Telangana State is being denied its share in power and water by Andhra Pradesh Government. Instead of bringing Telangana's share by all means, KCR has confined himself to giving statements against his AP's counterpart N Chandrababu Naidu. He said after farmers, now students too have started developing suicidal tendencies due to delay in payment of scholarships and fee reimbursements.
