The last Chief Minister of united Andhra Pradesh N Kiran Kumar Reddy is likely to join the Bharatiya Janata Party soon.
The speculations of Kiran joining the BJP were back in the political circles on Monday. According to sources, the BJP has been eying Reddy vote bank, in both Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, by inducting Kiran Kumar Reddy into the party. The BJP is planning to make him a member of Rajya Sabha member before giving him a berth in the Union Cabinet.
Although these speculations have been making rounds since the formation of Telangana in June this year, they gained momentum in the last two days after some senior BJP leaders called on the former Chief Minister to discuss his joining into the party. Sources say that Kiran Kumar Reddy, in principle, has agreed to join the party.
