CLP leader in Telangana Legislative Council D Srinivas on Saturday advised Chief Ministers K Chandrashekar Rao and N Chandrababu Naidu to work unitedly for the development of both Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.
He was addressing a press conference at the Congress Legislature Party office here along with MLCs Ponguleti Sudhakar Reddy, MS Prabhakar and Ranga Reddy. Referring to the criticism by KCR on Naidu during State Cabinet's briefing on Friday night, he alleged that both the Chief Ministers still enjoys the master-student type relationship. He said KCR must have known about Naidu as he had worked with him in the past in the same party. Stating that Telangana was experiencing political uncertainity, he asked KCR to take immedate steps to change the circumstances.
Srinivas criticised KCR for convening an all-party meeting over Polavaram issue. Similarly, other issues likes like farmers' suicides, fee reimbursement, scholarships and pensions have remained unattended. He said that KCR should have made some alternate arrangements to help out farmers who in distress. Instead of resolving crisis, KCR is still focused on encouraging revolt in opposition parties. He is sending a wrong message that funds would given only to those joining TRS from other parties.
