Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu has asked the members of the Capital Advisory Committee to prepare a master plan for administrative structures in the capital city.
He has asked them to consider a proposal to constitute a Capital Region Development Authority (CRDA) that will look into other developments in the capital city. In a review meeting held at the CM Camp office today, the Chief Minister discussed whether land acquisition or land pooling or negotiated settlements would be feasible for procuring land for the capital.
A consensus was arrived at the meeting to go for land pooling system which will be a win-win situation for both the land owners and the state government.
Further, the Chief Minister has asked them to check the ratio of land left for common facilities, roads, land owners and the state government. The Chief Minister will again meet the members of the committee soon.
Minister for Municipal Administration P Narayana, TDP MP Sujana YS Chowdary, Peepul Capital’s Srini Raju, Principal Secretary for Municipal Administration and Urban Development D. Sambasiva Rao, and others were present at the meeting.
