The Trs Government is planning to launch several developmental schemes from Dussara.
This was disclosed by Deputy Chief Minister Dr T Rajaiah while addressing a press conference at the State Secretariat here on Saturday. According to him, the Trs Government has almost completed the process of meticulous planning for the effective implementation of all schemes. He said all existing and possible loopholes were identified and check-points have been created to ensure that the benefits of schemes reach the deserving beneficiaries.
Rajaiah said that the State Government would soon resolve all the problems being faced by farmers. Steps have been taken to provide irrigation facilities to one lakh acres of land in each Assembly segment in a phased manner. He also hoped that the Pranahita-Chevella would be accorded the status of National Project by the Centre.
When asked about the controversy over Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao pulling him up in a public function in Warangal, the Deputy Chief minister reiterated that KCR was like father figure to all TRS men and therefore, there was nothing wrong if he pulls up the ministers or legislators in the interest of public. He accused the opposition parties of politicising the issue.
Rajaiah alleged that the opposition parties were trying to make a mountain out of a mole by blowing KCR's comments out of proportion. He ridiculed the Congress leaders for their criticism against KCR and said the same Congress leaders including K Jana Reddy and Ponnala Lakshmaiah remained silent when the then Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy refused to grant funds for farmers of Telangana. He said that Kiran Kumar Reddy's comments against farmers were harsher than those made by KCR against him.
