Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, along with a delegation, called on Prime Minister Narendra Modi at latter's official residence here on Saturday.
The Chief Minister submitted a memorandum comprising 21 proposals related to Telangana State. He had sought Special Status to Telangana, national project status to Pranahita-Chevella, 4000 MW power plant and Rs 6,000 crore financial package. He also sought the Prime Minister's intervention in resolving the energy crisis in the State.
The Prime Minister has reportedly assured Kcr that he would consider the proposals at the earliest. He also urged Kcr to maintain friendly relations with Andhra Pradesh and resolve the issues between the two Telugu speaking States through dialogue.
