TDP floor leader in GHMC Singireddy Srinivas Reddy on Thursday expressed fears that the TRS Government would misuse the data that it proposes to collect through Intensive Household Survey on August 19.
Describing the survey as "CT Scan of all the citizens living in the Telangana State", Singireddy said that after ascertaining all the details, the TRS Government would misuse the same to play the vote bank politics. "Why the common man should be Micro scanned (MRI/CT) and the data pertaining to their personal information should be ascertained. Apprehensions are high that, the existing beneficiary schemes have been misused by the rich people. Therefore, if this rich sector is scanned, then many beneficiaries will be filtered, most of them will belong to rich and probably we would not find any necessity to ascertain the date of the residual common man," he said.
"Why the State Govt. is not seeking information since 1956 onwards pertaining to, the loan amount due/outstanding to various banks, financial organizations, Micro finances, Private finances, etc.; How many people succumbed to the loans since 1956; How many couples possess unmarried daughters, so as to extend monetary support and take responsibility of conducting their marriages," he said.
Singireddy said that initially it would be wise to ascertain the data of assets and liabilities of all politicians and bureaucrats since 1956 as it would help expose the black money that they possess.
Therefore, Singireddy advised people to fill the questionnaire as follows: Caste - Indian; Place of Birth - India; Occupation - Striving for livelihood; Assets - Debts outstanding to the Banks, financial organizations, Micro finances, Private finances, etc., He said people should write all the problems being faced by them.
