Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee president Ponnala Lakshmaiah on Wednesday alleged that the TRS Government has failed to implement a single promise that it made with the people.

Speaking to media persons at Gandhi Bhavan here, Ponnala alleged that the TRS Government was not moving in the right direction as it appeared during the 70 days of its rule. He informed that he wrote a letter to Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao seeking explanation on 28 different issues. They include the issues like EAMCET counselling and admissions, reservation for Muslims and STs, suicide by 130 farmers and farm loan waiver schemes.

Ponnala said that the TRS Government has touched the sky in making tall promises. However, it did not even touch the ground when it came to their implementation. He alleged that KCR was still focussed on politics while ignoring his duties as the Chief Minister of Telangana. He said that KCR has adopted a dual policy of blaming his Andhra Pradesh counterpart N Chandrababu Naidu to divert people's attention.

He also informed that the Telangana Congress would conduct a meeting on August 24th and 25th to introspect the party's performance and activities.
