New Delhi, Dec 2: All agitations, rallies and bandhs should be conducted in a peaceful manner without disurpting normal life of the people, suggested Opposition leader and Telugu Desam Party supremo N Chandrababu Naidu.Talking to newsmen here on Wednesday, the TDP leader expressed his displeasure over the Telangana Rashtra Samithi agitation turning violent and said arson or destruction to public or private property is not a healthy trend.Naidu also condemned the arrest of TRS president K Chandrasekhar Rao stating that every citizen has the right to protest and agitate in a democracy. Naidu also condemned the police lathicharge on students on the campuses of Osmania and Kakatiya Universities.

He termed the government handling of the issue arising out of KCR’s indefinite fast as ``irresponsible'' and urged the students and people maintain restraint. He made it clear that there is no change in TDP stand for separate Telangana. “We will face challenges, but will not put our credibility at stake,” he said.Naidu came here to muster the support of other party leaders against Obulapuram mining issue. He also demanded that the State Government take action against officials responsible for colluding with the management of Obulapuram Mining Company.He urged Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee to present a separate budget for farmers in the ensuing budget session of Parliament to improve their conditions.
