Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has deputed his Additional Secretary Smita Sabarwal to go to Karimnagar District a day in advance to personally monitor the preparations of his visit.
The Chief Minister is visiting the Karimnagar District on Sunday and will participate in developmental programmes including that of Public Health, Municipal Administration and Roads and buildings departments.
The Chief Minister has said that he has special affinity and relationship with Karimnagar district and however much he does to that district it would be still less. He recalled the first meeting connected to the Telangana movement held in Karimnagar district way back and said that, it is that incident that took the movement to greater heights and ultimately achieved Telangana. Against this background, KCR is touring Karimnagar district to participate in various programmes after assuming charge as Chief Minister.
Agriculture Minister Pocharam Srinivas Reddy, Chief Secretary Rajeev Sharma, Prl. Secy. to CM S Narsing Rao were present when the Chief Minister took this decision.
