Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu on Thursday urged the farmers to give some time to his government to fulfill all the promises that he made with them.
Addressing a meeting here, Naidu said that the TDP Government was committed to waive off the agricultural loans. However, he said that it might take some time for the government to fulfill all the promises. He briefed the farmers about the financial crisis being faced by the government. He said despite financial crunch, the government would ensure that the farmers do not suffer.
The Chief Minsiter also held separate review meetings with the ministers, legislators and officials of West Godavari district. Naidu, who arrived here on Wednesday evening, interacted with ministers P Sujatha and Manikyala Rao, ZP Chairman Bapiraju and others. He asked them to prepare village-level plans to ensure that all areas witness equal growth.
Later on Thursday, Naidu left for Hyderabad after concluding his two-day tour.
