KCR – Easily surrendered.

The issue may soon be sidetracked. Kcr’s stunt of “fast-unto-death” has come to a full stop in just below 36 hours after his fasting. As everybody expected Kcr was arrested much before his arrival to Siddipet. From there on everything went as per the plan of Police and Home Department.

Kcr getting out of his vehicle at Alaganoor Junction near Karimnagar and surrendering easily to Police, there by shifting Kcr to Khammam and presenting before magistrate who remanded Kcr for 14 days is all in the plan.

Now again just merely below 40 hours after his fasting, Kcr is shifted to Khammam Government Hosiptal and doctors have started the intravenous infusion of normal saline into Kcr’s body. Police personnel were quite clever and they have even made their official photographer and cameramen available and picturized the episode of infusing normal saline into Kcr’s body and offering him the fruit juice which Kcr consumed without any force. The sad part of the drams is that many TRS leaders including Harish Rao were present besides Kcr when he officially broke the fast. This marked the full stop of 36 hours struggle which was allured from nearly 40 days.

This is rather a meek surrender by Kcr as every Telangana citizen expected much more of the show from Kcr. Student unions in Osmania and Kakatiya Universities may have got their share of credibility in once again showcasing the intensity of fire hidden behind the separate statehood of Telangana, but once again the issue of separate Telangana may be thrown to a corner with Kcr and TRS getting back the lost charisma.
