Andhra Pradesh Congress Committee president Dr N Raghuveera Reddy on Tuesday asked TDP President N Chandrababu Naidu to focus on fulfillment of elections promises.

Speaking to media persons at Indira Bhavan after paying tributes to former Prime Minister Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru on his death anniversary, Raghuveera Reddy said that Naidu should restrain from indulging in meaningless politics and focus all his energies on fulfilling all the promises that he made to the people during elections. He hoped that Naidu would waive off the farmers' loans immediately after assuming charge as the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh on June 8.

Raghuveera Reddy said that despite its absence in Andhra Pradesh Assembly, the Congress party would continue to raise the public issue. He said that the Congress would organise massive agitations if the TDP Government fails to fulfill its promises. He also condemned TRS chief K Chandrasekhar Rao for his remarks against Seemandhra employees. He said KCR would soon assume charge as the Chief Minister of Telangana and therefore, he should change his tone and be cautious in use of words while making statements.
