The Telangana Rashtra Samithi is all set to form the first governemnt of Telangana while the TDP-BJP combine is clearly heading towards victory in Seemandhra region.
As per the trends of counting till 12 noon on Friday, the TRS had an absolute lead over its rivals on 56 seats. Surprisingly, the TDP-BJP combine is on second position with 25 seats while the Congress party has been pushed to third position with its candidates leading in just 19 Assembly segments. The Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen was leading from nine Assembly segments including Yakutpura, Malakpet and Nampally.
Similarly, the TRS is leading on 11 Lok Sabha constituencies while the TDP-BJP combine is ahead in three Lok Sabha seats. The Congress candidates are leading in just two seats. MIM President Asaduddin Owaisi is all set to win from Hyderabad Lok Sabha seat for the third consecutive term.
In Seemandhra region, the TDP-BJP is leading in 100 Assembly segments while the YSRCP is leading in 64 Assembly segments. The Congress party is almost washed out of the Seemandhra region. Likewise, the TDP-BJP combine is leading in 17 Lok Sabha seats while the YSRCP is leading in eight other seats.
