Lagadapati predicts TDP's victory in Seemandhra

Former Congress MP Lagadapati Rajagopal on Wednesday predicted victory for Telugu Desam Party in Seemandhra region.

Speaking to media persons here, Rajagopal said the TDP would win majority of seats to form the government in the residuary State of Andhra Pradesh. He said the voter turnout of more than 70 per cent was a clear indication that the TDP-BJP combine was all set to form the next government.

It may be mentioned that the Election Commission of India had served a notice to Rajagopal for his earlier prediction wherein he stated that the Telangana Rashtra Samithi and TDP would form governments in Telangana and Seemandhra regions respectively.
