Hyderabad,Nov 27:Sensing trouble in the wake of the proposed fast-unto-death programme by Telangana Rashtra Samiti president K Chandrasekhar Rao in neighbouring Siddipet town of Medak district from November 29,the state Government has promulgated prohibitory orders in all the districts of Telangana from November 28.This was disclosed to the media by the Government sources here on Friday.As November is drawing closer the government has taken this decision to thwart any untoward incidents.The Karimnagar district police have already promulgated prohibitory orders under Section 30 of the AP Police Act.The prohibitory orders would be implemented till December 31 in the district.
According to this act there would be prohibition on rallies,rasta rokos,dharnas, public meetings in the town.According to the sources,police pickets will be deployed at all vital installations and keeping a close surveillance on the movement of TRS leaders in the district.The police instructed private taxi owners and others not to rent their vehicles to the TRS rank and file.Kcr who is launching the ``fast unto death’’ wants to tread the path of Potti Sreeramulu,who died in 1952 during a fast-unto-death in Chennai (then Madras) demanding a separate state for Telugu people.Meanwhile preparations are in full swing in Siddipet where Kcr will be launching his``fast unto death.’’ The venue has been spread over 50 acres of land is being spruced up to accommodate a good number of pro Telangana activists and TRS supporters who back Kcr.
