Union Minister Jairam Ramesh on Tuesday informed that the government was planning to upload the details related to bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh on its website from May 8.

Speaking to media persons here, Jairam Ramesh said that the complete details of reports submitted by 21 committees would be accessible to the general public from May 8, a day after the conclusion of second phase of polling in the State. He also said that the progress in the bifurcation process would be reviewed on May 9.

Jairam Ramesh said that the bifurcation process would be hastened from June 2, the Appointed Day, as separate governments in both the States would become functional. He also said that the Centre has decided to set up another committee, headed by Union Home Secretary, to speed up the process.
