The Telangana Rashtra Samithi has postponed the joint meeting of its Politburo, Parliamentary Party, Legislature Party and State Executive to March 3.

This crucial meeting was earlier scheduled to be held on March 1. Sources say that the meeting would now be held on March 3 and would discuss the post-bifurcation scenario in Telangana region. The reasons for postponement of meeting could not be ascertained although sources say that some leaders have expressed their inability to reach Hyderabad by Saturday.

Although AICC General Secretary Digvijay Singh had claimed that TRS president K Chandrasekhar Rao gave positive indications about merger, the TRS leaders expressed displeasure after Medak MP Vijayashanti was admitted into the Congress party on Thursday.
