Former minister Jc Diwakar Reddy has accused YSR Congress Party president YS Jagan Mohan Reddy of playing an active role in bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh.
Speaking to media persons here on Thursday, Diwakar Reddy alleged that Jagan wants the State to be divided as he would not get a single vote if the State remains united. He said that Jagan was covertly working for bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh while chanting slogans of Samaikhyandhra. He said Jagan's stand towards Samaikhyandhra could be understood from the fact that he went back on his promise of supporting Adala Prabhakar Reddy's candidature in Rajya Sabha elections.
Diwakar Reddy also alleged Jagan and TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu were having a secret understanding to divide the State.
