Women ministers condemn CM's dharna

Women cabinet ministers from Telangana region on Wednesday condemned Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy for staging a dharna to stop tabling of State Reorganisation Bill.

The ministers - Dr J. Geeta Reddy, D K Aruna and Sunita Lakshma Reddy, who participated in the protest at AP Bhavan against the Chief Minister's dharna, said that nothing could stop the Telangana formation now. Geetha Reddy described the Chief Minister as a dictator and said he was acting like the Chief Minister of the Seemandhra region.

DK Aruna accused the Seemandhra leaders of enacting dramas to gain political mileage. She condemned the Chief Minister for going back on his words of abiding by the decision of Congress High Command on Telangana issue. Sunita Lakshma Reddy alleged that the women ministers were driven away by police at the instance of Chief Minister. She demanded that Kiran Kumar Reddy resign from his post immediately.
