Congress leaders criticize KCR’s slogan Telanganawale jaago and Andhrawale bhago

Hyderabad,Nov 20: Assuring the  Andhra settlers residing in the  Greater Hyderbad Municpal Corporation limits, fool proof security,Congress leaders Mr Jupalli Krishna Rao,Mr D Sridhar Babu,former ministers, Mr Mohammed Ali Shabbir, Mr Jeevan Reddy and Mr J Ratnakar Rao criticized the slogan of Telangana Rashtra Samiti  president  K Chandrasekhar Rao’s  slogan ``Telanganawale jaago and Andhrawale bhago”Interacting with the media at the Congress Legislature Party office here on Friday they  said region is not the genuine reason for the backwardness of a community,there are many reasons.

We need to  make a thorough study of of the problems and take  the  right step in the right  direction to bring  them on par with the others.You have the right to protest in a democratic fashion, if there were any imbalances,and it is the duty of the government  to look into them.But making provocative statements so as to create a regional feeling is not good,’’they observed.They pointed out that the issue of ‘settlers’ could be raised when a person was in possession of ‘assigned lands’. They also questioned the reluctance of Telugu Desam Party in taking part of the wider debate of ‘settlers’, by pointing out that it was the only political party that was getting benefit from the TRS rhetoric and from its absence in the elections
