Balayya joins TDP campaign,

Hyderabad,Nov 20: With the elections for the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporations scheduled for Nov 23, all major parties are hiring star campaigners to help them ferry across the troubled electoral waters.Actor and Telugu Desam Party's star campaigner N Balakrishna on Friday expressed confidence to capture the mayor post in the ensuing GHMC elections.He launched the campaign after ritually offering prayers at Bhavani Matha temple at Saidabad on Friday and went ahead with his attack on the Congress government for its largescale land-grabbing, deteriorating law and order situation,high prices of essential commodities and inadequate civic amenities.

He said the rampant corruption and the Congress government’s failure to deliver relief to the victims of recent floods and the tardy follow-up pace of development works taken up by the Telugu Desam Government would brighten up the chances of the Telugu Desam an the hustings.Campaigning for TDP nominee Singireddy from Saidabad,he hoped the TDP would garner more than 100 divisions out of 150 in the GHMC elections.He promised that the TDP would help revive the glory of Hyderabad by developing it to match international standards.
