Botsa said that Naidu was afraid of facing a probe into the charges of corruption against him. That was the reason why he got stay from courts whenever a probe was ordered. He said people's representatives should face investigation to prove their innocence. However, he said that Naidu always avoided a probe.

The PCC chief claimed that he got a clean chit from the CBI when allegations of corruption were leveled against him. He said Naidu had no right to criticise Congress Vice-President Rahul Gandhi and his brother-in-law Robert Vadera. He said Rahul had annonced a war against corruption by ensuring the passing of Lok Pal Bill in the Parliament. He said Rahul has also directed all the Congress-ruled State to take measures to end corruption in their States.

Botsa also announced that he would disclose his assets when the Assembly session commences on January 3. Speaking about Emaar Properties and other allotments, he said that the decisions were collectively taken by the cabinet. However, he said individuals should be held responsible if they have tried to deal some matters personally.

When asked about the fate of former minister JC Diwakar Reddy, the PCC chief said that JC was free to join any party he wants.

He also admitted that the Congress party could not perform well due to Telangana issue in 2013. However, he said that the party would do well in 2014, irrespective of whether the State remains united or not. He said that the Telangana Bill should be debated in the State Legislative Assembly.
