Hyderabad,Nov 18:Communist Party of India (Marxist) will work in tandem with Telugu Desam Party in fighting the corrupt policies of the Government not only in the state but even in the Centre. This was disclosed by Communist Party of India (Marxist) General Secretary Prakash Karat on Wednesday when he called on TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu at his residence.Interacting with the media, Chandrababu said in view of the Parliament winter session beginning tomorrow,he and Karat have decided to work in unison in Parliament to raise major issues concerning the people, including price rise. The TDP chief said the issue of alleged illegal mining in Anantapur district by the Obulapuram Mining Company (OMC),promoted by Karnataka Tourism Minister G Janardhan Reddy will also be  raised during the winter session of Parliament.

Karat speaking to the media said that the mining mafia which started in Karnataka has crept into Andhra Pradesh and is likely to spread all over the country. It was the Bharatiya Janata Party Government in Karnataka that fostered the mining mafia in the state. The same mining mafia has plunged the Karnataka Government into a deep mire.Referring to the Maoists he observed that ideologically CPI (Marxists) have differences with the Maoists. But it is very harsh to call the Maoists as Lashkar-e-Toiba.
