Digvijay Singh said that the Group of Ministers (GoM) was addressing all the issues related to the statehood issue. He said that the common capital issue could be addressed with the framework of the constitution and there are provisions in the Constitution which could facilitate common capital for a specified period. "An appropriate law can be framed and this is going to be done by the Ministry of Law and Justice," he said.

He said that the Antony Committee need not submit any report to the Centre as it was constituted by Congress president Sonia Gandhi. However, it would convey its views to the GoM.
