Telangana Rashtra Samithi president K Chandrasekhar Rao on Saturday expressed confidence that Hyderabad would emerge as the Silicon Valley of India.
Addressing the Telangana Employees of Energy Department at Mint Compound here, Kcr said that Hyderabad would be developed as country's IT capital by giving incentives and facilities to the companies to create more jobs. He said that the Information Technology Investment Region would create thousands of new jobs and would provide Hyderabad a place on the global IT map.
Kcr said that the Telangana would be made energy surplus State by increasing the generation capacity to 15,000 MW by constituting Telangana Energy Board. He demanded that the State Government should focus on completions of pending projects in the region. He said that all sectors would witness a positive growth in the Telangana State and injustices done to the employees in the past would be undone.
Kcr said that although he was alone when he started the movement seeking statehood for Telangana, but now thousands of youth are part of it. He thanked everyone who supported him in achieving the goal.
