Hyderabad,Nov 15: Telugu Desam supremo N Chandrababu Naidu on Sunday indicated his resolve to fight- to-the- finish until the State government scrapped the deal with Obulapuram Mines Company (OMC) owned by Karnataka Minister Gali Janardhana Reddy.Naidu,who led an all-party team to Chief Minister K Rosaiah in the morning, submitted a memorandum demanding the cancellation of the entire transaction with OMC and told newspersons that the response of the Chief Minister to the demand was lukewarm.’
The Chief Minister possibly wanted to dilly-dally or water down the whole affair,Naidu told newsmen and added that Rosaiah wanted adequate time to go through the documents pertaining to the mines transactions before taking any concrete action against the mining company.Naidu sought to know specifically from the Chief Minister as to what time he would take to study the papers and the memorandum of understanding before initiating an action.Babu said the Chief Minister indicated to the all-party delegation that a three-member panel is already at work going into the technicalities of the deal with OMC,hence there is no need to interfere in its functioning.The Committee is treating the whole transaction as if it was a private affair,Naidu alleged. We will not rest until the entire deal has been scrapped, he thundered.
