Jana Reddy extends support to OUJAC's Yudh Bheri

Panchayat Raj Minister K Jana Reddy on Sunday announced his support for the Yudh Bheri meeting planned by the Osmania University Students Joint Action Committee on September 21.

Jana Reddy said that he would discuss about the proposed meeting with other leaders to extend Congress party's support for the same. However, he appealed the students' unions to ensure the conduct of meeting in a peaceful manner. It may be mentioned that pro-Telangana groups have also planned to conduct "Sakala Janula Bheri" on September 29 to press for the demand for immediate formation of Telangana State. The pro-Telangana meetings are also aimed at show of strength against the "Save Andhra Pradesh" meeting held by the APGNOs on September 7.
