Telugu Desam Party president N Chandrababu Naidu on Sunday accused the Congress Government of ignoring the overall development of Andhra Pradesh.
Addressing the "Telugu Jaati Atma Gouravam Yatra" at Pothareddypalli of Krishna district here, Naidu said that the State's development in the last two terms of Congress regime was nil. Instead, he alleged that the State's growth levels have dropped since 2004 when Congress took over the reigns. He claimed that it was the TDP Government which brought overall development and changed Hyderabad into Cyberabad which created thousands of new jobs for the youth.
Speaking about the proposed bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh, Naidu said that the Congress party was trying to divide the Telugu speaking people for political gains. He alleged that the decision on Telangana formation was part of a conspiracy hatched by the Congress party in connivance with the TRS and YSRCP to keep the TDP out of power.
