Solution for bifurcation issues is Antony Committee: DS

Former PCC president and MLC D Srinivas on Thursday expressed that the issues supposed to arise due to bifurcation of the State should be brought to the notice of the Antony Committee.

Speaking to the media at his residence, Srinivas said that no one should try to question the decision of the Congress Working Committee. The Congress high command had taken the decision on Telangana after consulting all political parties.

He also asked the APNGOs to bring the issues related to bifurcation, if any, to the notice of the Antony Committee. The decision on bifurcation of the State was already delivered, he said, and exuded confidence that the Centre should not go back from formation of separate Telangana State.

Srinivas has alleged that some anti forces were trying to sabotage the formation of Telangana State. The Seemandhra Congress leaders should support the Congress high command decision on Telangana Statehood, he added.
