Cong-YSRCP enacting drama on statehood issue: TDP

TDP leader Dulipalla Narendra on Saturday asked YSRCP Honorary President Vijayamma to swear on Holy Bible that her party would not ally with the Congress party in future.

Accusing that the Congress and YSRCP were hand-in-glove in staging political drama on the statehood issue, Narendra said that both the parties were misleading the people of both Telangana and Seemandhra regions. He said that the YSRCP was trying to emerge as the champion of Samaikhyandhra agitation through different tactics. However, he said that the people would not fall into the political traps of both Congress and YSRCP.

The TDP leader said that the people should be cautious with the YSRCP as it would ultimately merge with the Congress.
