Dokka condemns Modi's entry into national politics

NREGS Minister Dokka Manikya Varaprasad on Monday slammed the appointment of Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi as the head of BJP's election campaign.

Talking to reporters at the Congress Legislature Party office here, Dokka said that the country does not need Modi-led Gujarat model. Describing Modi as 'Hitler', he said that Modi represents communal hatred and his projection as the national leader would only disturb the communal harmony in the country.

Dokka ridiculed the hype around development in Gujarat. He said that the BJP Government forcibly took away land from the poor to help the industrialists.

The minister said that only Congress party could provide a stable and secular government in the country and Rahul Gandhi would be best person to lead the nation after next elections.
