Naidu should tender apology: YSRCP

Ysr Congress has demanded an unconditional apology from TDP leader N Chandrababu Naidu for his baseless remarks on YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and the Chanchalguda jail authorities.

“The unsavory remarks of Naidu that people are leading a lavish life in jail have been rejected by the concerned authorities. The TDP leader has to tender an open apology for his rubbish allegations as it demeans the functioning of the jails and hurts the sentiments of our party leaders and cadre,” party spokesperson Jupudi Prabhakara Rao told reporters here on Friday.

The talk of illegal activity in the jails has come out of frustration as Naidu has lost grip over his Party. The DG Jails gave a rejoinder for the senseless allegations which no person of the civil society will accept putting rest to the TDP version.

TDP leaders continuously attacking YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and spreading unfounded allegations on the lifestyle in jails have been unabated from TDP side for some time now.

With such talk doing the rounds, the authorities have restricted the meetings of Jagan and the family members and party leaders are sharing the limited time allotted for him, he said.

The tone and tenor of Naidu is unbecoming of a leader of a political party who has served as Chief Minister and heads the Party which has a standing of more than 30 years.

Naidu has lost his balance of mind as his padayatra, Mahanadu have gone awry. He has been speaking in an incoherent manner. Leading a party which has infighting, Naidu has been venting his frustration on YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and our Party, he said.

In spite of such baseless allegations, people are still with YSRCP and they will give their decisive mandate at the appropriate time as Naidu has lost confidence of the people and his own cadre and leaders.

When asked about CBI, he said there should be an inquiry into the style of functioning of CBI in YS Jagan Mohan Reddy’s case. The same agency said that it lacked manpower to investigate the allegations against N Chandrababu Naidu in Emaar and other cases.
