Khammam,Nov 9: The Communist Party of India's party base would be strengthened at the grassroots by soliciting people’s suggestions and feedback regarding the problems being faced by them, stated Communist Party of India state secretary K Narayana here on Monday.Talking to the media persons in the light of the deliberations of the three-day state council meeting, which started on Sunday,he said the executive committees at district and mandal levels would be revamped by inducting new and young members.He alleged that Hyderabad District Collector Navin Mittal has ordered closure of 240 primary schools to promote the corporate school. He appealed to the government to reopen these schools as poor people, who are unable to meet their children's school expenses, would send their wards to these schools.

The party would launch an intensive agitation until the government opens these schools, he threatened.He said the party would appoint an experts team to study the drought and execution of rain relief measures in the districts.Based on the team report,the party would launch agitations at all mandal kendras on Nov 27 to press their demands.He said the meeting decided to popularize `Desa mante matte kadoi, desa mante manushuloi’ a song written by Gurajada Appa Rao in 1910, to promote patriotism among the youth.Party deputy general secretary S Sudhakar Reddy, Puvvada Nageswar Rao, MLC, and a host of others took part in the deliberations.
