Nizamabad MP Madhu Yashki Goud on Sunday accused Telangana Rashtra Samithi president K Chandrasekhar Rao of diluting the statehood movement by aiming to win 100 assembly seats in next elections.
Talking to reporters here, Madhu Yaskhi said that the TRS chief should clarify whether his goal for formation of Telangana or political empowerment. He said it was ridiculous to claim that by winning 100 seats the TRS would be able to achieve separate Telangana. He said that if KCR's aim was to win 2014 elections, then why he organised different movements in the name of statehood.
The Nizamabad MP also refuted the allegations that he was preventing the Telangana Congress MPs from joining the TRS. He said that the TRS leaders were leveling allegations against him as he had questioned the relationship between KVP Ramachandra Rao and KCR.
