Supreme Court has reserved the verdict on YS Jagan Mohan Reddy bail petition.
Jagan Counsel told the court that CBI has been giving two different versions, one in High Court and the other in Supreme Court which amounts to misleading the apex court. Jagan has been kept in jail for the past 11 months, Jagan counsel has said.
The CBI has told the High Court that Jagan custody is necessary on seven counts while it told the Supreme Court that custody was not needed, the counsel said. It said that the investigation has reached a crucial juncture and it will take another four to six months time to complete it and under these circumstances, Jagn cannot be given bail.
After hearing both sides, the court has reserved its verdict.
