TRS brush with Facebook

Social media has been a boon to many and even politicians and political parties are using this platform to get nearer to the people, but the handle went awry in case of Trs when the probable candidates list for the next general election popped up in the face book.

They were posted in the name of Trs President K Chandrasekhar Rao and the post has created sensation. Trs Party has swung into action to do the damage control exercise and issued statements saying that KCR has no account in Facebook and the post was the handiwork of some mischief mongers.

“We will take up the issue with the Cyber Crime Police and bring the miscreants to book,” the party has announced.

Meanwhile, the politburo of Trs will meet on April 12 and discuss the future course of action.

Elections to local bodies, strategy to be adopted in the assembly are the likely issue to be discussed in the meeting. The meeting will also discuss about the arrangements for the 12th anniversary of the party to be held on April 27.
