MNCs should display boards in Telugu

Seems like Government is serious about its order on promoting Telugu. Its first step is to make Telugu more visible at public places.

All Multi National Companies should display its name boards in Telugu hereafter or else, they will be liable to lose their license, Labour Commissioner Ramanjaneyulu said. We will also recover the costs of removing the English boards from the business units, he said.

Government has issued orders that all shops and business establishments should hereafter display the name boards in Telugu. May 14 will be celebrated as Official Language Day, Mandali Buddha Prasad said.

We will celebrate this New Year (Ugadi) as Cultural Awareness year, he said.
