Revamp in State Cong. Structure in the offing

In a bid to strengthen and revamp the organizational set-up, PCC President Botsa Satyanarayana has dissolved all district committees of the party.

Botsa, who returned from Delhi after discussions with party state in-charge Ghulam Nabi Azad, had taken the decision immediately after his return. There has been many crossovers and groupism has been rampant in many districts. The new district committees will be formed by April 15, he said.

This move will give a fillip to the party which will be fighting the local bodies elections and the general elections as well.

Nine MLAs have defied the whip during the no confidence motion and there would action against them. A complaint to this effect was sent to Speaker N Manohar.
