Hyderabad,Nov 2: In view of the latest development regarding the tie-up between Congress and the Praja Rajyam Party,the proposed meeting between PRP chief,actor turned politician Chiranjeevi and Chief Minister K Rosaiah has been put off.Congress General Secretary in-charge Andhra Pradesh, Veerapppa Moily on Monday ruled out any alliance with the PRP putting to rest all the speculations about dissensions in the party.
Moily’s statement made Chiranjeevi to call off his meeting with Rosaiah.According to the PRP sources the PRP leaders advised Chiranjeevi not to hold talks with the state Congress leaders. Instead they advised him to have discussions directly with Sonia Gandhi for a speedy solution.Another section of PRP felt that it was better to merge with Congress than forging an alliance. With the PRP in such a dilemma,Chiru is planning to convene a meeting of the party leaders on Tuesday to take a final decision.
