TDP gearing up for GHMC polls

Hyderabad, Oct 31:In a bid to  regain their upper hand in the forthcoming Geater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation elections,the  Secunderbad division of Telugu Desam party cadre under the leadership of Talasani  Srinivas Yadav met here on Saturday to chart out  their strategies.Talasani speaking to the media after the meeting said that Tdp is set to  win the maximum number of seats from Secunderabad division.Only if we win maximum number of seats in GHMC then we will be able to counter the ruling congress.It is only  during  the time of Tdp rule  that  there was development in the  twin cities.

The credit of getting Krishna water to the city goes to Tdp,he emphasised.He criticised the Congress government for neglecting the development activities in the GHMC limits and assured that Hyderabad will retain its old glory when Tdp was in power for being a city on par with International standards with good roads, sanitation and other infrastructure.Referring to Telangana Rashtra Samiti president K Chandrasekhara Rao, he  said, KCR  boasts   that whole of Telangana is behind him.Then why is he shirking the GHMC polls he questioned.Let him contest in the polls and show his strength.’’
