Seemandhra leaders' views must be taken before T-decision: Malladi

Vijayawada Central MLA Malladi Vishnu on Friday demanded that the Centre and Congress High Command take the opinion of leaders from all the regions before taking a decision on the Telangana issue.

Talking to reporters at the Congress Legislature Party office, Vishnu said that the Congress party could not take one-side decision on Telangana. He said that the opinion of leaders from Andhra and Rayalaseema should also be taken into consideration while announcing a decision on the statehood demand. However, he said that the Congress would abide by the decision taken by the Congress High Command on the Telangana issue.

Vishnu also slammed the Telugu Desam Party for taking a pro-Telangana stance and asked the TDP leaders from the Seemandhra regions as to how they would face the people in their constituencies.
