MLC and educationist Chukka Ramaiah appealed to all political parties to come out with consensus on the Telangana issue during the December 28 All Party meeting.
“I will also write a letter to this effect requesting all political parties to come out openly with their stand on the issue without any delay,” he told reporters here on Tuesday. He urged the ruling Congress, main opposition TDP and YSRCP to make a clear statement on the issue without any ambiguity.
“People of Telangana want a decision from these parties with clarity,” he said at a press conference organized by Telangana Coordination Committee held at the Press Club. For the past five years development has taken a back seat with agitations and there is no rationale in postponing the issue any further as the confidence in the people is weaning, he said.
“I will also write a letter to all political parties to frankly tell their stand as it is too late and the issue has been dragged too long,” he said.
