TDP office buzzing with activity

Hyderabad,Oct 30:Telugu Desam Party candidates are thronging the NTR Trust Bhavan in Banjara Hills with  their  applications, to press for their candidature to contest in the  forthcoming  Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation  elections  scheduled for  November 23.The Tdp chief N  Chandrababu Naidu  is  facing  a tough time  in the selection of candidates with pressure  mounting on him  from  various sections within  the party. The  Tdp office has become  the  hub of activity with senior leaders along with their  supporters waiting  patiently to  have a hearing  from their chief Chandrababu Naidu.Talasani  Srinivas Yadav, whose  name  once   figured as the likely candidate for mayor’s post  has now  gone  nto  oblivion.

Mayor candidate Teegala Krishna Rao’s name  is being prominently played up for  the mayor’s post.  Apart  from these two the other  three candidates who are  figuring  in  the race  for  mayor’s post  are  Arvind Kumar  Goud, Bhimsen and Sudeesh Ram.Of late  the  membership in  Tdp has gained some  momentum. On Thursday about 1000 ASFI youth took the Tdp membership in the  presence of Chandrababu  Naidu while elsewhere in the twin cities members from Loksatta are joining  the cadre.Meanwhile Chandrababu  Naidu has called  for a meeting  of all the leaders  from  150  divisions on Friday  evening  in view of  the  selection of candidates.

He will be  addressing a large  gathering of  2000 party  members in the evening.Talasani, Alladi keep low Talasani Srinvas  Yadav  and  Alladi  Rajakumar who  had been kept out fo the politbureau recently are keeping a low profile.They are keeping away from active  party  politics.
