Kodandaram asks Botsa to support Telangana in all-party meet

Telangana Political JAC chairman Prof M Kodandaram on Friday demanded that the Congress party send two pro-Telangana representatives to attend the all-party meeting being held on December 28.

Talking to reporters after meeting Pradesh Congress Committee president Botsa Satyanarayana at Gandhi Bhavan, Kodandaram said that he has appealed to the PCC chief to favour the formation of Telangana State during the all-party meeting. Claiming that Botsa has assured to convey his message to the Congress High Command, he informed that he would be separately meeting the leaders of all nine political parties in the next few days who have been invited by the Union Home Ministry for the all-party meeting.

Kodandaram warned that the statehood movement would be intensified if the all-party meeting fails to take a decision in favour of Telangana State.
