Hyderabad,Oct  30: Reacting to  the  resignation of  Konda  Surekha , Chief Minister  K  Rosaiah said  that  she  tendered here resignation  letter due to her personal  reasons  but not because of any personal  grudge against me.Speaking to the media  here  on  Friday the  Chief Minister  further added that he  forwarded  her resignation letter to Governor N D Tiwari recommending  him  to  accept her resignation. Her resignation  will not have  any  impact in the  forthcoming  Greater Hyderabad Municiapal  corportin  elections.As already reported,  Konda Surekha  minster  for  woman development and child welfare resigned  from the ministry on Thursday.

After silently sitting through the cabinet meeting in the afternoon on Thursday, Surekha drove down to Raj Bhavan in the evening and submitted her resignation to Governor N D Tiwari. After submitting the papers, she told the media that it was her decision alone to quit the ministry and that Jagan was not aware of it. She also said that  she would continue to be a Congress legislator.Sources  close  to  Congress circles say that Surekha resigned as  she was  sure  that  she was going  to  be axed  when  the  cabinet  would be   reshuffled.  Soon after  her resignation she  attacked  Renuka Choudary indirectly. She did not  mention her name  but she  said  that woman leader who defected from Telugu  Desam Party  and  become  a  minister  in  the  centre  was trying to tarnish the name of  Jagan.
