The cold war between Chief Minister N. Kiran Kumar Reddy and Health Minister D L Ravindra Reddy continues with the former asserting that he can drop any minister from the cabinet the latter reiterated that the decision on retaining Roads and Buildings Minister, Dharmana Prasada Rao has been thrusts on the cabinet.
Questioning the veracity of the cabinet’s intervention the CBI investigation process, DL Ravindra Reddy said decision to retain him in the cabinet was taken by the Chief Minister and was imposed on the cabinet.
The decision on whether or not to accept the resignation of Dharmana Prasada Rao should be taken by the Governor and not the Chief Minister nor the cabinet.
Ravindra Reddy has sent a dissent note to the Chief Secretary Minnie Mathew in this regard contending that he was not party to the cabinet decision and this should also be informed to the Governor.
It remains to be seen where this war of words will leads to and who will embarrass whom.
