‘Develop Hyderabad as world

Hyderabad, July 10 (TNN): Andhra Pradesh should be number one state in attracting investments from abroad, stated the Chief Minister, Dr Y S Rajasekhara Reddy, here on Friday.Conducting a tele-conference from secretariat with various departments, he asked the officials to prepare a blue print for making Hyderabad an international destination to attract the investments.

The Hyderabad city should be developed as model corporation with all world class facilities to lure the investors, he pointed out.He asked the city traffic police department officials to prepare a road map for regulating traffic like a hassle-free driving. A multi-pronged approach to regulate and monitor traffic was needed in the city. He also asked the officials to use latest traffic management technology and techniques to regulate traffic, he pointed out.

“This will give the much needed scope for large infrastructure projects to be planned and implemented for improving the transportation system in Hyderabad city," he added.

He asked the officials to coordinate traffic management by developing mechanisms such as traffic task force, road safety committee and traffic action committee. He stated that traffic police department would be strengthened by augmenting officers and staff.
