Pulivendula by-polls likely in December

New Delhi,Oct 24: The by-election to Pulivendula Assembly constituency, represented by late Dr Y S Rajasekhara Reddy, will be held in third week of December.According to Election Commission sources, the commission will issue election notification in this regard on October 26 and October 27.

The election to Pulivendula constituency was necessitated following the death of late chief minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy, who was killed in a chopper crash near Nallamala forests on September 2.The election code will come into effect from the issue date of election notification, the commission authorities said.
